Building the most trusted employment marketplace

Trust is important in all online marketplaces, but especially in employment. With hundreds of thousands of people interacting on our platform each day across APAC, SEEK is delivering new solutions that allow candidates and hirers to connect with confidence.

Hear from Jacqui McCudden, Head of Product – Profile, Identity & Apply about new ways you can connect with trusted candidates on SEEK.

What's new?

Trusted claims

Candidates across APAC can now verify their identity using a government-issued document. We’ve partnered with local institutions and authorities across APAC, such as Malaysia (MyKad), Philippines (PhilID) and Singapore (Singpass), to allow candidates to add pre-validated information into their profile and applications, giving you confidence in candidate claims.

Candidates can also verify their work history by confirming their workplace using an email address from their current workplace.

With more than 20 credentials available and plans to expand our offering across Asia, we’re making it easier for candidates to verify important work-related claims such and working rights, licences and credentials.

Reference checks

It's simple to complete reference checks with SEEK’s new integrated reference checking solution.

This feature takes the hassle out of the final selection process, gives you deeper insights, and fits into how you already hire on SEEK.

You can now request structured feedback from referees directly through your SEEK workflow — no extra tools needed. It’s quick to send, simple to complete, and the responses come back in a clear, consistent format. That means less admin for you and more clarity when it’s time to decide.

Highly interested candidates

See which applicants are the most interested in your role.

The new ‘strong interest’ feature means that candidates can prioritise jobs that are their top preference, helping you to understand their motivation for your role.

Candidates must verify their identity to access this feature, helping you to shortlist qualified and highly interest talent. And, with a limit of three tags each month, candidates must decide on the roles they are most interested in.

You can easily spot candidates who are the most interested in your role with the 'highly interested' badge appearing on their application in candidate management.

Company Reviews AI summary

Candidates can quickly find out what it’s like to work at your company with the launch of a new AI review summary on your Company Profile page.

Located on the ‘about’ page, this generative AI summary provides an overview of the key themes and sentiment expressed in your business’s latest company reviews.

Based on the last 30 reviews, these summaries are updated each time a new review is added for your company, helping prospective candidates understand if your business aligns with what they are looking for in their next job.
