Top 5 work perks employees want in Australia

Did you know that 63% of Australians agree that knowing an organisation offers its employees benefits or ‘perks’ in addition to salary, makes them want to apply for a job? These are the top work perks Australians value most from their employer.

The number one work perk that Australians want is the ability to choose their working hours and where they’re able to work from. 

Friday drinks is the second most in-demand perk and much more popular with younger candidates (18-34 year olds).

Having the option for a company car is the third most valued perk.

Employees also value the opportunity to be mentored and coached on their careers.

Providing access to mental health support is importand and valued by employees, closing out the list for the top five most appealing work perks for Australians.
