About the role   

Join Betty's Sugar as a full-time Payroll Officer, part of a team of 10. You'll report to the Payroll Manager and play a key role in our finance and accounting division. Your duties & responsibilities will include needing to:

  • Assist with payroll coding and award interpretation

  • Perform data entry using Microsoft Excel

  • Fill both manual and computerised records

  • Receive and process invoices

  • General administration assistance within the Finance & Accounting area

Experience and qualifications    

  • Previous work experience in payroll, accounting, or similar

  • Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance. Business Administration or similar

  • Proven skilfulness in numerical and data entry skills to ensure accurate processing of payroll information to deadlines

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in communication to engage with employees regarding inquiries related to payroll

  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting
