Each year, the SARAs recognise the innovative people and agencies striving for excellence in the recruitment industry.
If you want to wow the panel of expert judges, you’ll need to start with a great entry. We’ve made a checklist to help you ensure your SARAs submission is the best it can be. From getting the basics right to knowing what will make you stand out, we’ve laid out the steps to a great entry—plus some handy tips, too.
The basics
Have you included all the essential elements?
Have you answered the question that's being asked?
Is your submission succinct and to the point? If so, have you formatted it clearly too?
Have you included case studies, and demonstrated outcomes with supporting evidence and metrics?
Have you checked the T&Cs to ensure your eligibility?
Show off
Have you ensured your submission will stand out?
Have you included evidence to prove your business stands out from the rest?
Is your business disrupting the market? If so, have you explained how, with evidence?
Have you told a success story or shown testimonials to prove you're providing aworld-class service?
Have you demonstrated innovation?
Have you portrayed the passion you or your business has for the industry and shown how you're striving tocreate meaningful impact?
Show contribution
Have you demonstrated engagement and contribution to the recruitment industry?
Have you demonstrated how your or your business contribute to the recruitment industry?
Have you demonstrated how you are an industry leader or how your business is an industry leader?
Have you shown a measurable benefit to the broader industry, beyond you or your company’s commercial gain?
Show you care
Have demonstrated your commitment to candidate and client experience?
Have you included what initiatives you have put in place and why they’re successful?
Have you shown the value your business brings to your clients, and backed this up with evidence to demonstrate a measurable impact?
Show vision
Have you demonstrated your vision for your role, your business or the industry as a whole?
Have you included your growth objectives?
Have you demonstrated how your business continues to add value to the industry over time?
And have you clearly described your growth target, why it was set, how it was achieved, and the outcome?
Handy tips
Talk to the appropriate stakeholders and gather all the information first.
We know you are busy. Why not book out some time in your calendar so you can finish your entry without disruptions?
Get your marketing team involved. They can give you great advice on how to include the right case studies, and proofread your submission.
Don’t leave it to the last minute! Get organised early and you’ll have plenty of time to check and edit the information before submissions close.
