Long description    

About the role   

Grow in our inclusive team of 8 as our Leading farmhand. Reporting directly to our Farm Manager, this is a permanent casual basis with full-time hours, 40 hours per week. Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the daily operation of our business while seeking continuous improvement & development

  • Oversee all aspects of dryland grain property operation and maintenance

  • Operate farm machinery including planting, harvesting, broadacre spraying, camera spraying, trimble guidance, ploughing machinery, etc...

  • Maintain cattle herd using sound animal husbandry techniques

  • Shift dry hire machinery around the district where needed

Experience and qualifications
