Anne Sabine holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in microbiology and biotechnology, from the University of NSW.

Anne has almost 30 years' experience in scientific recruitment, having established Australia (and the world’s) first specialist scientific agency Labstaff, and grown it into a national network of branches. She sold Labstaff in 1999 to a large multinational and remained there as the Director of their scientific division for 10 years. In 2010, Anne started Evolve Scientific Recruitment, along with a team of consultants and managers who also became shareholders. As Managing Director, Anne has been instrumental in Evolve’s success. Evolve Scientific Recruitment has branches across Australia and is the preferred supplier to some of the nation’s most prominent companies and government agencies. It's recognised for its innovation and commitment to candidate care, having won the 2014 SEEK Annual Recruitment Award (SARA) for Candidate Management, as well as the 2015 SEEK Annual Recruitment Award (SARA) for Recruitment Leader of the Year and Small Recruitment Agency of the Year. Anne is considered one of Australia's foremost experts in the field of scientific recruitment and scientific skills development. She has developed strong relationships within government and industry, and has worked with key decision makers within the scientific community. Anne is passionate about the future of science in Australia and has been instrumental in launching a number of undergraduate programs to help science students gain valuable industry experience. She is also the founder of the Casual and Temporary Employees Association of Australia (CTEAA).
